Job Title: Associate Professor - Chemistry

Job Duties: The Associate Professor of Chemistry primary focus is enriching and supporting our dynamic programs and majors in the Natural Science department such as Environmental Science, Biology, and Fisheries and Wildlife. The position will also support minors in Chemistry and Environmental Humanities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Teach General Chemistry lectures.

-Teach Organic Chemistry lectures and labs.

-Teach upper division classes in Environmental Chemistry and Biochemistry.

-Teach introductory courses in Chemistry to non-STEM majors as required.

-Participate in student advising.

-Conducting research or outreach that addresses regional environmental chemistry issues involving student participation.

-Working with student clubs and other community engagement associated with the program.

-Participate in different college committees.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field. Documented research or publication record (Chemistry field).

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (M-F)

Salary: $64,081 per year
